Course Description
This 4-day ILT course provides the learner with the Adaptable Modular Storage models AMS200, AMS500, &
AMS1000, and Workgroup Modular Storage model WMS100, the tools available to manage the subsystems, and
the procedures related to their installation & configuration at a customer site. Detailed technical information about
the various models, their features, benefits, architecture and components is also provided.
Lecture sessions are supported by practical exercises that are designed to give participants the opportunity to
complete the procedural steps that are required to successfully install the hardware, configure a subsystem and
release it to a customer in an operational state.
Lab exercises provide an extensive hands-on learning of the resource management tools and software program
products such as Cache Partition Manager and LUN Wizard. Hands-on exercises enable the learner to better
understand the subsystem features and therefore set them up for customer use appropriately.
