Course Description
This four day instructor-led course provides training on installation,
configuration, implementation and customer level support for the Hitachi
Adaptable Modular Storage 2000 Family (models 2100 and 2300).
The course is designed for users who have had training on the previous
models. This course also addresses the technical differences regarding
the hardware and software program products.

positioning, product objectives, features, and benefits
• Explain the hardware components and architectures
• Explain Active/Active I/O Pathing and identify the benefits that it
offers in hardware performance
• Describe specific installation procedures
• Explain the features and functionality of Storage Navigator Modular 2
• Identify the implementation specifications for Adaptable Modular
Storage 2000 Family products
• Identify the tools to maintain and troubleshoot Adaptable Modular
Storage 2000 Family products, and the advantages of the new
troubleshooting tools
• Performance Monitor (objectives forthcoming)
• List the customer support capabilities
