Course Description
This two day instructor-led course provides a differential on procedures,
processes, capabilities and additional features of the Hitachi Adaptable
Modular Storage 2000 family modular storage systems (models 2100,
2300, and 2500) in comparison with the previous Hitachi Workgroup
Modular Storage 100 and Hitachi Adaptable Modular Storage models
200, 500, and 1000.
The course is designed for users who have had training on the previous
models. This course also addresses the technical differences regarding
the hardware and software program products.

• Identify new components and locations
• Describe hardware enhancements
• Describe new and changed software program products
• Explain initial installation procedures
• Identify Hitachi Storage Navigator Modular 2 program differences
• Install and run Storage Navigator Modular 2 and perform various
management tasks
• Perform maintenance operations
• Identify the tools and tasks necessary to maintain and
troubleshoot the Adaptable Modular Storage 2000 family
• Describe the different support structures
