Course Description
This two day instructor-led course provides a differential on
procedures, processes, capabilities and additional features of the
Hitachi Universal Storage Platform™ V in comparison with the
Universal Storage Platform. The course is designed for hardware
support engineers who have had previous training or with field supp
experience on the Universal Storage Platform, or for individuals who
want a deeper technical understanding of the new features and
program changes associated with the Universal Storage Platform V.
In addition to addressing technical differences between the hardwar
and existing software program products, the course focuses on the
Hitachi Dynamic Provisioning software, also known as Thin
Provisioning. This training is applicable for both Open Systems and
mainframe engineers.
Target Audience
Hardware support engineers or anyone who needs a deep technical understanding of the differences between the Universal Storage Platform and
the Universal Storage Platform™ V.
