Course Description
This three-day instructor-led course provides the fundamentals of
Hitachi Device Manager software v6.2 and discusses its ease of use in
managing Hitachi storage systems. This course trains participants in
standard workflow techniques for successfully managing storage using
Device Manager. Extensive hands-on lab exercises using both Hitachi
enterprise and modular storage systems are included.
In addition to addressing configuration, administration, operation, and
storage management, a special focus is directed at Device Manager
software best practices. Pair volume operations, command line
interface, external storage, and maintenance and troubleshooting are
discussed.
Required Knowledge/Skills
Basic understanding of Hitachi
Tuning Manager software.
